The Move We are all faced with difficult challenges in our life. Some challenges are more difficult to overcome, especially when our odds are stacked against us. When in reality we have to find a solution to cope with the challenges we go through in life. I’m going to be talking about the challenges I had to face when I moved schools my senior year.

In “Creative Solutions To Life’s Challenges” Frank X Walker talks about how to

problem solve with whatever life throws your way. To do this you have to be creative with it because creativity is a necessary part of life. Walker's story is about how he lived in a poor household but his mom did creative things to make it seem like he didn’t even live in a poor household she would take something simple and make it into so much more. His mom made creativity as simple as breathing and Walker made art his speciality of creativity. This is how Walker and his family made a creative solution to cope with a life challenge. Life was good and my friends were great. I know I didn’t want to leave what I had always known. My parents found the perfect opportunity and they took it. I knew I had to try and find a way a way to cope with the situation even if I had to be creative about it.

I was distraught! I could not bear another drastic change in my life. I now, going into high school, had to attempt to make new friends. I came to Baltimore with a pessimistic attitude regarding making friends. I convinced myself that all the girls had their click of friends since elementary and middle school. Therefore, during my first year of high school, I ate lunch alone while catching up on work or went do the gym to shoot basketball hoops. I hated change and thought there was no point in trying to make the best of the situation and actually attempt to make friends. That year I focused solely on adjusting…
