Essay: Electricity crisis in Pakistan their impacts causes and possible solutions Energy is physical quantity that describes the amount of work that can be done by a force. Energy is a basic need of every work done it can be obtained from many sources. Their are two types of energies Renewable which can be regenerated and non renewable which cannot be regenerated An energy crisis is any shortfall in the supply of energy resource to an economy of oil and additionally to electricity or other natural resources. The crisis often has effects on the rest of the economy, with many recessions being caused by an energy crisis in some form. In particular a production cost of electricity rise, which rises many manufacturing costs. Energy crisis in Pakistan was expected and it started in the year 2007, we can look in the 2008 year expected available generation of electricity was 13146 and demand was 16848 but now in this year expected available generation of electricity is too low and demand is too high because of increasing population of Pakistan day by day. The problem become more severs during summers. In those days we have Electricity crisis in Pakistan is one of the sever challenge that the country is facing today. Electricity is the essential part of our daily life and its outage has several affectations on economy and overall living of ours. Pakistan is currently facing up to 18 hours of electricity outage of a day and it expected the face more if not deal with in time. There are many causes of this crisis of electricity that we have to observe. 1. Many people steal electricity to fulfill their requirements that thing also avail them to use electricity at high range. 2. Miss distribution of electricity in Pakistan present at high level. Many people have double phase electricity connections in their houses and most of industrial level. They also utilized electricity at high range. 3.
