    He realizes that bringing back the buggers can threaten mankind’s existence; “There flashed through his mind a dozen images of human beings being killed by buggers” (320) Ender sees that if he nurtures the buggers back to health, there is a possibility that they might strike again, and humanity will be at risk.     For example, Ender had a plan that would make Bernard, one of this launchy classmates, look like an idiot and abate his power over all the launchies, “Bernard’s attempt to be ruler of the room was now broken-only a few stayed with him now… Bernard was contained, and all the boys who had some quality were free of him.
