Cancer is a disease that started in the human cells . When the cell program of death and formation of the cells go wrong that some cells do not die , and there is an abnormal growth of cell in the body , a tumor is formed. There is two type of tumors benign and malignant. Benign tumors are easily cured mostly with a surgery , but malignant tumors are dangerous and need more time for treatment. Colon cancer is one type of many type of cancers . it is defined as a cancer that happens or occurs in the large intestine or the rectum ( the end of colon). In cancer cells both of these functions are stopped, and cells stop entering G0, the period of the cell cycle where a cell rests and completes basic functions, instead of dividing.
