Emperor Chin Shi Huangdi: Effective Ruler
In my opinion, Emperor Chin Shi Huangdi was a strong, valid, effective ruler, and has helped China in many ways. In fact, if he had not ruled, China may not have been how we see it today. My definition of effective is going to be “successful in producing a desired or intended result”. I predict that many would argue by saying that he was harsh and cruel, which I beg to differ, but being likable is not being effective. His intended result, as far as I understand, was to unite China, and make sure he established his power. Which he definitely did. Uniting China was an arduous and challenging venture, which the Emperor had decided to take on.
