On the topic of fire, fire has always been a symbol of power, authority, and devotion. I think that it’s only befitting that a character, such as Elijah, is continuously associated with this element. I say this because he is devoted to Yahweh as the one true god and has acquires plenty of authority after demonstrating the power that God has given him.
