Start: The films begins with his capture by Philippines and US forces under Frederick Funston’s command in 1901, then flashes back to 1886. When an old woman gives Aguinaldo and his Childhood friend Candido Tirona cryptic prophecies. After several years, Aguinaldo is inducted into the Katipunan and latter assumes leadership of its Cavite Chapter while becoming Mayor of Cavite El Viejo. When the troubles break out, Aguinaldo tries to assure the Spanish provincial government of non interference and covertly marshals his forces despite a lack of weapons. Learning that the Spanish mostly put their forces in Manila. Aguinaldo finally mobilizes his troops and take the command of Katipunan forces in Cavite.

Climax:
Aguinaldo leaves Cavite with most of his forces intact and makes it to Biac-na-Bato in Bulacan and he leads to other country. There he meets with us officials who approach him with offers of support and recognition of a new Philippine amidst the Spanish- American war breaks during Antonio Luna is appointed commander of all the Filipino forces.
Ending: After having a big revealation and figth to American people, Aguinaldo lives a quite life, which he meets and married Felipe Agoncillos niece Maria. Over the next few decades, the couple witness Philippine history unfolds once more as he is defeated. In his last hour, the same woman who gave him his prophecy appears to him one more time.
Reaction: The movie were the cast of veteran, award winning actors, like Cesar Montano who even though didn’t make an effort to resemble Bonifacio, Acted with passion just like the supremo.

The movie documentary on Cesar was very inspiring, all the fight he did just to try and make a change. He took a stand for farm workers, being exposed to pesticides and how it is harmful. Eventually some laws did pass and at the time were for the pesticides used then. He started this organization in 1962 the United Farm Workers. A month into his last fast he had lost 30 pounds, and other doctors had to come in and reexamine him for his health. His boycott against the grapes really was a long journey for him. The thing I found interesting was the masses they attended and how politicians would even show up to those masses and see what it was about. His 36th day of fasting was his last day which was a Sunday and he got to eat a little piece of bread. For a week he had to stay on fluids though before going back to eating regular food. That day many people attended the mass it was a big thing to see him come out from his fasting, but it didn’t mean he was going to stop fighting. He then later passed on in 1993 where 50,000 people had showed up and attended the funeral, it just goes to show how big of an impact and leader he was too many people. His story is truly amazing the courage he had to get things done, the motivation. He led a lot of people and was the spoke person for them all. I really liked watching the video learning more about him, which I didn’t know much about. Emilio Aquinaldo, a Filipino general and Politian, accepted the war with open arms and thought the war would be the change that the Philippines needed so desperately. When U.S declared war on Spain, Aquinaldo saw it as an opportunity for the Philippines to become an independent nation.
