Effects Of Cortisol
Cortisol can also be used in medication fields as Hydrocortisone. The first cortisone produced by Merck &Co in late 1940s. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid, which can be used as drugs or intravenously for the treatment. Hydrocortisone has an anti-inflammatory effect in the short-term, and thus has been found helpful in treating arthritis, allergy, and a variety of cancers, asthma or endocrine disorders. Moreover, hydrocortisone can speed up the healing process and help in dissolving scar tissue. Taking hydrocortisone can decrease inflammation by preventing infection fighting white blood cells from traveling to the area of swelling in your body. Base on this function, it decreases the pressure of the tumor on nerve endings and relieves pains
