But some times, people use the systems for home enjoyments, parties etc. The noise is just jarring and harmful for the ears. It can cause sleep disruption. It can also cause deafening. The machinery and generators, mobiles have a great impact on central nervous system of the humans.The causes of noise pollution are many. In rural areas, trains and airplanes’ noise can disturb wildlife habits. In urban areas, one of the major sources of noise pollution is the traffic noise. Transportation systems create noise pollution. The number of vehicles on the road is increasing day by day and hence the sound produced by them is no less than a nuisance and is chiefly responsible for the noise pollution. Industrial noise also adds to the noise pollution. Machinery and motors used in the industries create a lot of noise. The bulldozers, loaders, hammers etc are used in the construction sites and thus, the construction of buildings, highways and city streets also cause a lot of noise and hence lead to noise pollution. People living beside railway stations put up with a lot of noise from locomotive engines, horns and whistles and switching and shunting railway operation in rail yards which is also a source of noise pollution. The effects can be worse. The noise pollution can affect the human and animal wildlife badly. Noise pollution disturbs our health. It can lead to deafness or hearing impairment, sleep disorder, irritability, heart problems, high blood pressure etc. It decreases our efficiency in working. Noise of traffic or the loud speakers divert the attention from the working condition. Noise pollution also creates lack of concentration and disturbs our working level, thus reduces our performance. Noise pollution also affects the plant vegetation as they require cool environment to grow but noise pollution causes poor quality of crops. Noise pollution also increases the stress levels among people. So, it becomes quite necessary to curb noise pollution and take measures and steps to control noise pollution.The solutions are needed. Some of them are: Roadside plantations is one of the great solutions to help in reducing noise pollution. Change the design and operation of machines like sound proof cabins and sound-absorbing materials can greatly help in reducing noise pollution. One must locate the building as far as possible from noise source. Vegetation buffer zones must be created in different parts of the city. Be a good and concerned neighbor by not disturbing those who live next door with your music. So, reduce the noise and enjoy the life.
