Edward-Personal Narrative
Edward, a name only his mother used by the way, had just lost his job something that added substantially to his already rather low self-esteem. One of his friends, one of the very few he had left, managed to talk him into taking part in a search party looking for a girl that had gone missing up in the nearby mountains. Even though he had lived all his life in the shadows of the mountain range, he had actually never been up there. So just the thought of him taking part in this search and rescue mission without proper clothing, without a pair of decent boots looked more than a joke than anything else. The experience would however come to change his life fundamentally. He would come to find so much more than he set out to look for as it would

It was an oddly quiet Sunday morning in the middle of December. Clear skies, forests and beautiful snow-capped mountains dominated the views from my front porch. The temperature was mild, one of those days you could wear a thin sweater and be a little chilly. There were no birds chirping or butterflies fluttering, as they had all left to the south to find a more suitable environment for them or died. I had missed this type of day when you could relax in the peacefulness of the quiet morning…

“Even with my growing anticipation of getting the first key, my thoughts had never left Tarsamon, the demon that directed the evil that had recently been ordered to hunt me. On a nice summer day, I met my now good friend PrebuiltBear64. I was just looking around, looking for something to do, then a notification popped up, ”PrebuiltBear64 is Broadcasting.“ Then I held the power button on my controller to open Mixer and watch his broadcast. He was playing Minecraft with his friend swordguy069. They were playing on their private survival world. They were getting ready to go to the End and fight the Ender Dragon.…

Phil Robinson is a Philadelphia naïve, at a young age he was introduced to fashion by his father. His father was very strict on presenting yourself in a classy stylish way. He was about his boys looking neat, being clean and well groomed as we grew from boys to men. I took that guidance and as I got older I decided it was something I wanted to share with just not my son, but with many others also. Style is in my blood, I've been doing it for years for family, friends, etc. Helping kids is my passion and always has been. So here is just my small avenue where I can combine both of the things that I enjoy most to create a positive…

I have always wanted to hit a dinger since the day I started baseball. Keegan and I were warming up before the semi final game. It started off regular, he throws it to me, I throw it back. Then my team started taking pop ups, but me and keegan still got to warm up because he was starting pitcher and I was catching for him. It was pretty wet outside but that wouldn't stop us from playing our game.…

That is amazing! I can honestly say a fish tank was not of high worry for me when it comes to things being hacked. I, like most people, think of my cellphone, tablet, and computer, of being hacked compared to my appliances (which non of them are smart so I am hopefully safe there). It's amazing how someone in another state or even country can access almost everything I own. A gentleman named Thomas Hatley, was awoken one morning by someone stating, "I can see all of the devices in your home and I think I can control them” (Hill, 2013). This stranger proceeded to prove to Thomas what she could do by turning his lights on and off. This man seemed astounded by the possibilities. It's amazing to me that some individuals still don't understand the…

Tom wondered for what seemed to be the millionth time why Dectives were required to dress like wall-street bankers or stock analysts. At least that was the expectation in public, however the moment he had the office to himself, he unknotted his tie, slipped off the linen suit jacket, and undid the top button of his shirt, then sat back in his chair, raised his eyes to the ceiling, and tapped the tip of a ballpoint pen against his teeth. That was Tom's usual mode of concentration and contemplation, and so intent was the man's focus on the new case that all else slipped from his mind, even the recollection that he'd texted his wife. Therefore, the sudden familiar sound of her voice, accompanied by the enticing aroma of barbecue, startled him, and he immediately shot upright. The sight of Lila elicited a smile that only widened with the greeting and kiss. "Sorry baby."…

Here’s what you have told me so far: You went to Forks with the lowest of expectations, not particularly excited about the small town or eager to live in it. You had made a few friends when low and behold, Edward walked right into your life. You had “chemistry” with him  and were seated next to him when he started acting weird. He acted angry and barely talked to you.…

Ed doesn’t care. He has lived long enough to realize it doesn’t matter what people think. His hair is balding on the top, goes down to about his shoulders, and is as white as snow. He wears the same outfit everyday: a battered pair of jeans, ford belt buckle, and boots. He doesn’t wear a shirt, I always think he wakes up and can’t find a shirt so he makes himself just decent enough to go outside. He has tattoos all over his chest, and could be the scariest looking person I have ever seen. When we knock on his door at about 3 p.m. we assume he is just waking up because he looks like he has seen daylight for the first time in a week. He opens the door and gives us a grin of relief and says “You here to mow the lawn? She probably needs it. How…

It was a Tuesday in February when it first happened. Unexpectantly waking up in the morning, realizing that the bottle of pills taken the previous night did not do what the Internet said they would. When you are someone like me, actions and thoughts like this occur on a daily basis. Nobody wants to live this way, constantly dreading each day and hoping the next will bring a stable supply of neurotransmitters like serotonin or dopamine. These chemicals in the brain, when in excess or in insufficient amount, cause depression. As a person with dysthymia (Eeyore Depression), everyday life is a challenge; simple tasks become strenuous, thoughts become askew from random triggers, and being understood by others is a rarity.…
