Early Bird
Provided that I have to go to school, I normally follow the same steps in getting there. Although sometimes I mix up the order so I can get ready more efficiently.
With the view of the sun shining through my blue shear curtains I slowly open my eyes to a squint. I then roll over on my bed and check the time on my phone. From there I decide whether or not I need up yet. If not I will lay there and stretch for a good ten minutes so that my body is more relaxed throughout the day.
On the other hand, if or when it is time for me to wake up, I will sprang from my bed. Then I decide what outfit I may want to wear. First I pick out my undergarments, then my socks, along with my pants and my top. It’s hard to decide, because not all my clothes are available to me on day to day basis. Half of them are in Glen Easton; others are at friend’s and family’s places. In the apartment my closet is in the living room and I have two dressers in my room. One for my non-school clothes and the other one are strictly clothes that cannot be ruined
After deciding what I want to get dressed into, I walk through the living room, the kitchen, and into the bathroom. Once in the restroom I turn the water on to warm it up for my shower. While waiting for the water to get hot, I grab all my shower supplies that I need. For fear that I may not make it in time; I try my best to quickly finish. First I allow the water to run all over my skin. Once I have enough water on me I grasp the shampoo bottle and squeeze an educated amount onto my hand and gently scrub it into my long blonde hair. While letting the shampoo soak, I grab my pink and white poof and put a medium dab of body wash on it. Then I lather it up and use it to cleanse my skin. After I rinse the soap off I move onto the conditioner. Finally when my shower is complete, I pat dry my skin, and then get dressed.
Meanwhile my brother and I are figuring out what we want to eat for breakfast. Once found I follow the instructions of how to

I arrived home and start preparing. The warm water of my shower feels silky against my skin, forcing all the stress and unpleasantries of work off my body, washing it all down the drain. Washing myself with the soapy, scratchy loofa, a familiar smell, of Plumeria flowers after a nice Hawaiian rain, fills the room, allowing peace to fully engulf me. I dress in a brown and black paisley shirt with long see through sleeves and a sweetheart neck line, , that flattered my bosom perfectly, along with a silky, stretchy, pair of boot cut black pants and some modest 3 inch…

Do you feel like school should be started later in the morning? Well, the school should start later. Instead of school starting in 6:30, maybe it should start at 8. If schools delayed the start of the school, communities will have reduced tardiness, sleeping in class, accident rates, improved attendance, and higher test scores. School starting at 8 will most likely decrease the number of students falling asleep in class.…

That is why I believe that school should have a later start time. "Teenagers are being asked to get up at the wrong time. They are being asked to be in school when their brains are still asleep” (Carskadon). Studies have shown that schools with a start time between eight and eight thirty-five had a sixty-six percent decrease in tardiness. There were also major increases in the grades of first hour classes. A lot of students are not getting their work done at home because they are so tired from the long, busy day of school therefore, their grades are dropping. Schools shouldn’t be making students choose between their grades and their…

Don't go to sleep, stay up all night. Make the most of absolutely every second of my day. To be thinking, living, and breathing in the hours that are the least attended by conscious human beings. I enjoy sitting alone, hearing myself breathe in perfect rhythm in the dark on those calm, lonely nights. Taking advantage of my brains unwillingness to go to sleep to think of late night ‘crazy ideas’ or using the silence to discover my own thoughts makes me feel like i'm not wasting a moment. I enjoy the buzz on energy of exhilarating, wild nights with my best friends at an hour that seems ungodly. Driving to get Wendy’s at 3am with the music blaring because that one person in the group just needed a chocolate Frosty, knowing that curfew is way past over and a ticket is inevitable if you encountered a cop, gives you a thrill that can only be describes as making you feel alive. Looking at the clock and seeing a 3 or 4 as the hour is almost one of an accomplishment. Some of my fondest memories and most memorable moments of serene tranquillity were made during these…
