Earl Genofle: A Narrative Fiction
A door opened, and Earl Genofile stepped out to see what had happened. Earl was at the grand age of 75. He had hearing aids, dentures, and a cane. He was a nice senior citizen as long as he got his five naps a day. He quickly hobbled back into his two-story house to find his wife. Helga Genofile was also 75 years old. Unlike Earl, Helga did not need hearing aids, dentures, or a cane. She had excellent health. In fact, she was sure that she was going to live well over a hundred. She was almost done with her two mile walk on her treadmill when she heard a giant crash. Helga went to find Earl. Then, she saw the flow. They would have to leave fast.
Earl had just gotten to the stairs when he ran into Helga. He was shouting something, but Helga couldn’t understand him. Once again, he had forgotten to put in his dentures. The dark sludge was coming in even

She chucked Earl into the boat as gently as she could. All of the sudden, there was a giant crash. A boulder had struck the other side of the house. Helga moved quickly to the boat and unhooked it from the trailer. Suddenly, the boat lurched backward and hit the garage wall. She swam through the rising flow trying to get to the boat. She tried to be positive by thinking that swimming was good for her health. She hopped in the boat and turned the key. It roared to life. She then pulled away just as a car hit, and the house collapsed. She quickly looked back at Earl and saw that Earl still wasn’t awake.
Helga had to keep avoiding objects such as boulders and buildings and other common driving obstacles. She had just swerved away from a floating school bus when the boat engine ran out of gas. Helga tried to steer away from the town’s Church of Salvation, but she couldn’t avoid it. They struck the brick church. The last thing Helga remembered was flying out of the boat. As a result, she woke up in a hospital and had a concussion. She looked for Earl but could never find him. He was never

Evan highly believes that his parents were swallowed up by “the She”, which is a legendary sea creature that devours ships. So, Evan goes on a dangerous journey to uncover the mystery about his parent’s disappearance, and also truthful evidence to the existence of “the She”. Evan’s slow journey toward discovery of the reality of the events is grippingly suspenseful and Gray’s gradual revelation as a pawn in her own right is equally intriguing. The novel not only describes how a very traumatic event caused a loss of parents but also how the search of the truth also uncovers information about the main character’s life, causing the main character Evan Barret’s life to remain changed forever forcing him to believe that everything he ever knew was a lie, and there is still more about his life that needs to be…

Peter slammed his office door and ruptured another splinter on its face like the thousands that plagued it. His shaky hands fixed three locks across the door that jarred into their familiar cradles. He dragged his chair through the cracked grooves in the floorboards and collapsed into it with a sigh. The paperwork on his desk was minimal. It was the nightmare garden he tended to every night once the children were dreaming, and his wife curled against her own skin, embraced by icy cotton sheets. Cruthis recalls that as she was driving, “I felt the car skid a little bit, and then I lost control and I couldn’t turn the wheel.” She remembers that when the car started to swerve, “I tucked my feet under the seat because my dad told me never to hit the brakes in this situation. I tensed my arms up so I didn’t touch the wheel and cause any more damage than was about to happen.” The car began to spin in the opposite direction. “I spun about three times before it drove straight into a ravine. It (the car) flipped over once, and then all I remember was the car being at the bottom of the ravine, blood being everywhere, and my head out the window,” states Cruthis.…

“I mean it when I said I liked the personal touch on the rifle Codsworth,” I said as I was walking down the stairs and near the door. “Did you find anything Alexander?” asked Paladin Uther once Codsworth and I were down stairs. I pulled out the rifle and showed him it with a smile. “Well it looks like this will be perfect for stealth with that silencer and all. What does that say on the sign? Oh. ‘Codsworth was here sir!’ nice touch, I didn’t know that robots like Codsworth did graffiti,” He said looking at the rifle with a sudden grin. It was nice to see those Paladins grin after agreeing to go with me on a mission they think is worse than suicide. “Well let’s go outside and regroup with the initiate and knight that are out there,” said a…

    Grendel Narrative

I will begin my story from the point of my arrival in Denmark when my initial engagement takes place: I began my terror long ago when I sat in the darkness yelling and growling in pain of the happiness and joyousness coming from Hrothgar and his men yet, they still challenge me, after seven years they still celebrate and boast and laugh with their music. I, Grendel, through my great strength and immunity from the weapons of humanity, vow to plague the mead hall. I stayed in the darkness consumed with impatience, bitterness, and jealousy of listening to loud, joyous music coming from the hall; songs of rejoice make my hands scratch and claw at the top of my head. The king of Denmark shall flee in terror as my wrath is cast upon the people of the mead hall. After the laughter and the celebration were finished that night I came out of hiding from the marsh hidden in the darkness. I attacked from the front of the hall, destroying all in my path and devouring all those who stand in my way. The pathetic humans tried without success to prevent my massacre. Their weapons are primitive, worthless against my flesh. I hurled myself towards the crowds, devouring the humans who stood in my way. I hold my brutal and violent acts, those of jealousy and envy; just as the acts of my descendant Cain, in the highest regard as a force of sheer and utter destruction. I will prevail, of this I am sure.…
