Just like the content objectives, the learning outcomes and the language objectives were also displayed, explained, and reviewed with the students very clearly. Therefore, 4 points for this item as well. The contents of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer were perfectly appropriate for the educational background and the age of the ESL students. They could easily understand the literature. The choice of content was apposite here. Consequently, 4 points for this item also. Supplementary materials were used in this lesson to a high level. ‘Repeat after us’ and ‘Awesome stories’ were the two computer programs that were used as learning aids. The students were taught how to use ‘Thesaurus’ both online and offline to get the meaning of the words that were new to them.
