ELISA Cocaine Experiment
To investigate the practicability of the developed LSV for measuring cocaine concentrations in samples. Six samples were prepared by spiking known concentration of cocaine in water. The concentration and recovery percentage of cocaine in spiked samples were analysed using the standard addition method by LSV and ELISA for comparative study. The obtained recoveries for the spiked cocaine using LSV and ELISA are represented in Table 6. As shown in the table, the detection of cocaine using the developed LSV measurements can be a very reliable detection method for unknown cocaine samples. Six measurements for each sample to assess the reproducibility of the detection, recovery percentage shows a range between ± 2.3 to 9.7 % as illustrated in Table
