E. M Case Study
Errin showed up for her 7th session.
E.M discussed roommate difficulties such as sharing and being considerate of the apartment space. E.M reported her roommate has been consistently inviting her boyfriend and his young son to stay over the weekends at their apartment. E.M stated this causes her great stress, making her not want to be at home. E.M and I discussed different ways in which she can handle and approach these situations, such as acknowledging her roommate and her needs but also coming to an "equal" compromise. Ended session with the muscle relaxation. E.M seemed responsive stating how relaxing and helpful this exercise is for her.

Goals for next session: Discuss ways in which E.M can perform the muscle relaxation on her own

MEM Company, Inc., started up in 1883 by Mark Edward Mayer, produces an extensive range of colognes and toiletries. Sales had decreased over the year and MEM is now looking into several options to improve growth. After much extensive analysis, our team had decided to drop the option of launching Cambridge due to the stiff competition from Shulton's Blue Stratos which has a $12 million marketing budget with a fresh slogan, 'Unleash the Spirit', which we believe will differentiate Blue Stratos from the competition. Without the financial muscle and distinct product differentiation, Cambridge would languish in the shadow of Blue Stratos. Therefore, our team suggests that MEM should concentrate on repositioning itself in the market to retain and attract customers.…

Ever since I was taught how to operate a computer in my school, I have been fascinated by the way this small box was able to perform numerous functions in such less time. I still remember the day when my brother taught me how to browse the internet and find the necessary information. I was spellbound at the fact that so much information was only a click away. From then on my curiosity to learn about this device and its functions kept growing. Egged on by my parents and teachers and my innate predilection for science and technology, a degree in Information Technology was the logical career choice.…

SHANGHAI—August 11, 1872: a striking scene unfolded on the waterfront. Dressed in fine silk garments, 30 teenage boys were bidding tearful goodbyes to their loved ones and boarding the intercoastal steamer bound for Japan. From there, they took a big paddle-wheeler to sail across the Pacific to America, where they would begin 15 years of schooling and vocational training. Over the next three summers, three more groups of 30 boys set out on the same journey. All expenses were paid by their government. What caused this self-contained and deeply conservative country, proud of its ancient traditions of learning and culture, to send its sons abroad to be educated?…
