Dutch Woof Vs. Dutch Wealth Roof
Roofing is typically is dependent on the type of weather a region experiences. This is why when you look at different architectural roofing styles they are typical the same throughout a district. One type of roofing style is the Dutch hip roof also known as, Dutch gable roof. This roof type is great for areas that have a lot of rain or snow.

A Dutch gable roof, is a combination of two roof types: the hip and gable. "A Dutch gable roof combines… four sloping sides, and tops it with a gable roof." (Dutch Gable Roof, 2012) This allows for benefits of both styles of roofing. The four sloping sides allow for easy removal of rain and snow. The Dutch gable roof is also, "very resistant to areas pertaining high winds, hurricanes and tornadoes."
