Durendal: Roland's Sword
Durendal the name for Roland’s sword. However, Durendal is not simply a sword. Durendal is an extension of Roland’s personality, it was what drove Roland to fight and conquer. When Roland was holding Durendal, he was a noble soldier that could take down anything and anyone in his path. Durendal was brought by angel and given to Charlemagne who subsequently gave it to Roland.
