Steph curry (and it’s is going to be very hard to argue) is the best shooter the league has ever seen. The last three years he has been the hardest player to guard on and off the ball. The main reason is that he not only is an elite catch and shoot player from anywhere on the floor , he can get his shot off on the dribble with his quick handles and release. The numbers he’s posted is off the charts not only just at the three point line but from beyond the line (i’m talking 28+ ft) he has a better percentage than players shooting 22ft. The man is such a great shooter the legend ray allen make hi statement and says, “ Based on what he’s done, I think he has to be—he’s on his way to being the best ever. It’s always arguable, based on who’s telling the story. One thing I always tell people is, it’s hard to compare generations. Everybody has something or somebody that makes him feel special about the game, or the way they saw and the way they appreciate the game. I’ve sat back and watched a lot,…

He also won 5 MVP awards in the years of 1987, 1990, 1991, 1995, 1997. Jordan had a very exciting dunk contest in 1987. After a dual versus Dominique Wilkins he won the NBA dunk contest after his very famous dunk from the free throw line.He had also won defensive player of the year that same season! But in the years of 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998 he won in total 6 NBA finals rings! For him playing 15 seasons, that is a great record! Just to put this put there he only played for 2 NBA teams, ( Washington Wizards, and of course Chicago Bulls.) And to only play for 2 teams and win 6 rings is pretty impressive. “The Book of Basketball: The NBA According to the Sports Guy” by Bill Simmons, was a book only the Sports Guy could write. Save a few hundred pages for Simmons to inform the readers on how he became the basketball and Celtics fan he is today (hint: it was his dad choosing between a motorcycle and season tickets to the Celtics), why as a child he called himself Jabaal Abdul-Simmons, footnotes galore, his hatred for Isiah Thomas and Wilt Chamberlain, and many of the greatest “What-if’s” in basketball history. Other than that, Bill Simmons uses this behemoth of a book to indulge on his version of “The Secret” of basketball, winning championships, and gives his take on how the NBA Hall of Fame should be constructed. In a pyramid style ranking with five levels Bill Simmons has who he thinks should be where, as of 2009, and each level getting smaller and smaller due to the higher standard. It all ends with the 12 best of all time, sitting atop the pyramid like kings with Michael Jordan number one. Again there was no one other than Simmons to write this book. “You could dress me red, drop in into a Crips neighborhood, tell me that I have 12 minutes to start a high-caliber NBA conversation before somebody puts a cap in my ass...and I would…
