Dubose's Moral Lessons

The children were taught many lessons throughout the course of this novel, but the most valuable ones were certainly the ones taught by the community. In To Kill A Mockingbird, the community comes together to teach the kids moral lessons. The community is voluntarily and involuntarily teaching the kids lessons during multiple different times and places throughout the book. A few of those times might be, at the trial, Miss Dubose and her lessons of consequences, or the phrase “It is a sin to kill a mockingbird”.
