Dragon In Beowulf
A Dragon portrays as someone we hate, dislike, and discourage. But we must find a way to overcome and conquer the dragon with all mighty and power. There has been great stories that have dragons that portray with evil and greediness. One example, the story Beowulf must overcome the great dragon and conqueror the dragon in order to take over the village. Beowulf shows great strength and courage in order to fight the dragon with all his mighty power to overcome this challenge in his path. With Beowulf's never giving up attitude, Beowulf found a way to conquer his dragon and defeat him. Everyone has their own dragon that they must overcome but my dragon in particular has great strength and skill to make my life difficult and feel near impossible …show more content…
But time has passed and in my final stages of trying to defeat my dragon. My Dragon displays as the admissions office at Clemson University, they withhold the decision of accepting me or not into my dream school. Throughout my journey I have found certain characteristics in me that I thought I never portrayed in me, some have been good and some have been bad. The dragon has brought some evil into me and has changed me in some ways, the dragon has shown me how to display laziness, greediness, and to give up. But it has also created some good characteristics in me and has shown me to fight through any challenge that blocks the path to anyone's goals. The dragon, has made me feel like giving up on my grades and just quitting and going to a much easier school and a school I did not love.
The dragon has also help me find the school of my dreams, it has brought me to the university I love so much and all the possibilities Clemson has to offer. Without the dragon I would have never found my dream school, and will still searching for my second home for the next 4 years of my life. But through my journey this outrageous, crazy, and scary monster has brought me to fight and conquer this dragon and one day get accepted into the …show more content…
Through the 4 years of my journey I have found good and bad traits in me that have helped shape the person I am today. This journey has also brought the good of me and all my strength I had in me. This battle felt like a never ending, lifetime obstacle that I will never conqueror. This journey is close to the end and in its final stretch, hopefully I have found the strategies to defeat my dragon and get accepted into Clemson University. Only time will tell in December if I have defeated my dragon or
