You can make a double play from second, shortstop, third, pitcher, catcher, first, and anywhere in the outfield. In this how-to essay i am going to explain a couple of the many ways to make a double plays.
You can turn a double play at second base by incorporating the shortstop and first base. First, there has to be a runner on first base. Then, the ball is hit to your position at second base. Once it is hit to you and you have the ball in your hand and out of your glove, you ¨flick¨ the ball to the shortstop who is waiting to receive the ball on the bag to make the force out for out number one of your double play. After shortstop has received

Once again, there's a runner on first base when you receive the ground ball. You come up with the ball and throw it to the second baseman who is on second base waiting to receive the ball with his foot on the bag. Once he has received the ball he makes his throw to the first baseman who is stretched out with his foot on the bag trying to make the play before the runner touches first. This is the ¨5-4-3¨
The last most common way to turn a double play in baseball is kinda tough on the first baseman. There's a runner on first when he receives the ground ball. Then, he turns and throws it to the shortstop, who is waiting to receive the ball. Once he has received the ball at second base, he throws the ball back to first base. By then, the first baseman has back peddled fast enough to the bag to receive the ball from the shortstop to make the second out of the ¨3-6-3.¨
That is how you turn the best double plays. Baseball is an amazing sport and has a lot of different strategies, and turning a double play is one of the most exciting. Double plays can save games, and limit the amount of pitches your pitcher has to throw in an

Baseball is a very fun game to play. While playing the sport the idea is to hit the ball and score a run the more runs you score the better. Baseball is a nine inning game, one inning is when a team hits and plays in the field. As the ball is pitched the hitter does not take a step towards the pitch, instead they keep their feet planted on their heels. When the ball is getting closer they begin their swing by dropping the back elbow and lifting the front one up. As the bat begins to cross the plate the head begins to turn away from the ball, because they are using no hip action. The bat is stopped in front of their body, creating no follow through. There may be little or no contact at this point.…

Baseball is a game of skill that requires two teams consisting of nine players; a field, and equipment, such as gloves, bats and baseballs. To start, you will need nine willing players per team to participate. One team plays defence in the field , while the other plays offense at bat. The pitcher throws the baseball to the catcher with a offensive hitter in the batter's box trying to hit the pitched ball. Next, the umpire is the official that calls balls and strikes. A strike is a pitch thrown by the pitcher that crosses the plane of home plate between the hitters knees and letters, which is chest height. If it is within this zone, it’s a strike. If the pitch is not in this zone, it is a ball. If the hitter does not hit the pitch into the playing field before receiving three strikes, he is out.…

When it comes to pitching in softball and baseball you will be able to spot the difference right away. Pitchers in baseball throw the baseball over hand while softball players throw the softball underhand. Since softball players throw softballs underhand there is a difference in the pitching rules of baseball and softball. Softball players do not a have a regulation on how many innings they can throw, while baseball players have a limit of how many innings they are allowed to throw. This rule was established because throwing overhand takes a huge toll on the arm, while throwing underhand is more of a natural motion. The similarity between these two sports is the way pitches are called, balls and strikes, and hits and walks determine both sports and the outcome in the end.…
