Trump took the Presidential race by a storm instantly gaining supporters from across the nation. However, his strategy was like no other presidential candidate in history. Fearless and bold, President Trump fueled the racism and sexism of America becoming the talk of every community. Yet, some despised him hypocrisy, much more rejoiced his authenticity. He was not a politician nor did he spend decades working in Washington, but he a blatantly honest billionaire who had conquered the business world. Unfortunate for Trump, since his term began in January, he has finally realized that he needs actual political knowledge to govern the nation, a thought that had never crossed his mind. Due to his lack of common sense and education, Trump has unraveled…

Tension among white Americans and immigrants has always been evident, however, the nationalistic standpoint on this issue has become increasingly vocal since the recent election. Nationalistic political actions, specifically the increase of deportation, forces America to take a step back from the modern world, which will subsequently deplete them. Recently, U.S. president, Donald Trump announced that the administration would be ending DACA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, created by the former president, Barak Obama (Kopan 2017). Mixed responses were received following the announcement; 71% of Republicans who support Trump believed it to be just while the rest were against so (Kurtzleben 2017). Hobsbawm (1992: 170) commented that nationalism…

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. ... They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” When Donald Trump began his presidential campaign with this racist statement about Mexican immigrants, it was evident that his campaign would be focused on demonizing and stereotyping those who were not white, male and Christian. Despite this, Donald Trump was still elected President, primarily due to the support of white Americans in areas like western Wisconsin, northern Michigan, and western Pennsylvania. Based on his attitude toward racial relations throughout his campaign, it is clear that racial relations will be negatively impacted as a result of his presidency. Particularly, Donald Trump’s support of discriminatory and unconstitutional stop and frisk policies as well as his nomination of Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, who is explicitly racist, as US Attorney General provide evidence that Donald Trump’s presidency will almost certainly have a negative impact on racial relations. However, people can work to mitigate this impact by calling their representatives in Congress and asking to oppose racist policies and nominations and by standing up to instances of racism that they encounter in their own lives…

Some of the candidates think that there is an issue with immigration today which can only be solved by putting an immediate stop to illegal immigration and drastically reducing the number of legal immigrants allowed in the country. However I believe this would only create more problems for the United States. Many people claim that immigrants are stealing the jobs of hardworking Americans, but I disagree. If we forcibly removed all of the illegal immigrants from our country, not only would that cause a sizable international dilemma, but we would lose a large portion of the blue collar labor force. The fact of the matter is that immigrants do jobs that Americans feel they are too good for. By removing immigrants, we would only create a gap in the labor force because Americans buy-in-large feel entitled to well paid white collar jobs. In my opinion, Trump can talk about removing the Muslims and building his wall, but that would only create more problems for the United States as a whole. Immigrants play a large role in the labor force of this country and have since the Gilded…

In reality, Donald Trump's main goal is to play the victimisation game. He is portraying immigration as the main problem the country has. He is blaming all the people's ills (Lack of jobs, terrorism, inflation, etc) on the enemy, which in this case are immigrants. The government is the one to blame for all this issues, not fellow americans. This only divides us and weakens us as country. Voters, you have the power to not let this happen. We need to keep this country united.…

Each one saw that illegal immigration was a problem in our modern society, but America didn’t focus their attention on any of them except one. The Republican shrewd, solid businessman, Donald Trump. He used the slogan “make America great again.” He made illegal immigration one of his top priorities. He truly fought for what he believed was the right way to stop illegal immigration through a series of deportation and building a bigger way at the Mexican border. Donald Trump doesn’t know anything about the economy, the government, or even about owning a few businesses. This shows that once Trump becomes our president he’s not even gonna know what to do. According to, “Todaysinfo.net” it shows that Donald Trump is planning to build a wall that will separate the U.S. from Mexico. This shows that Donald Trump doesn’t care about what immigrants think, it also shows how racist he obviously is, and how he doesn’t understand that the U.S. is a free country (he doesn’t know about the economy) Donald Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing, he believes that he’s right and that in the next two years everything will be “better”. “I will make the country better again”- Trump…

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room, Donald Trump. Throughout the ceremony held to announce his presidency, he had some interesting things to say about immigrants. “When Mexico sends its people, their not sending their best,” “They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bring those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” After blatantly accusing a group of people for being rapists and drug pushers he adds, “And some, I assume, are good people.” It is these comments broadcasted to these big figures’ audience of millions that can shape the public's view. In Donald Trump’s executive order, he states that the majority of people entering the country illegally “present a significant threat to national security and public safety.” By not fact checking and just absorbing the opinions that are told to you, you create a divide and prejudice against immigrants based off of false assumptions. But what kind of threat do the pose? In his first speech to Congress, Donald Trump explains that America is “in an environment of lawless chaos.” and the only way to bring success to the nation is to “restore integrity and the rule of law to our borders.” Trump adds that we should try to attract high skilled workers instead of the low skilled ones we have that contribute to the nation's problems. Perhaps we should try to target high skilled…
