There are many ways to describe a topic or an event. Authors, for example, have their own unique style to present their argument when faced with a group of listeners. This unique style that accompanies every author can be announced in various forms of expression, such as statistics, social media, and artistic perspective to show their ideas as well as their opinions. The fact that pictures have no words makes it one of the best ways of persuasion because it can be interpreted in many different ways. In addition, these interpretations have no boundaries because none of them can be considered wrong. In the Queen comic, Queen uses all natural items such as mushrooms for her face makeup to do the second eye and her mouth. She also uses trees to apply makeup (Queen Comic). After being chased out of her society, she goes out into the forest and decides to use all natural things that do not harm others. This imagery shows that she understands other people’s struggles and therefore she minimizes the harm that she causes to the forest. In “Amandla Stenberg: Don’t Cash Crop on my Cornrows”, Stenberg explains, "But here's the thing: Appropriation occurs when a style leads to racist generalizations or stereotypes where it originated, but is deemed as high fashion, cool, or funny when the privileged take it for themselves. Appropriation occurs when the appropriator is not aware of the deep significance of the culture that they are partaking in" (Stenberg’s video 3:27-3:55). Here we can see that Stenberg precisely describes the difference among culture appropriation and cultural exchange. When majority culture people use minority culture things and present it to the world in a wrong way is cultural appropriation. Meanwhile, cultural exchange is a deal that two countries made for sharing information so that they can improve the relationship. In cultural exchange there is no misusing or lack of deep significance of the culture. Queen deserves to be treated as a “real” American unless she harms or misuse an individual.
