Don Pedro Character Analysis
Don Pedro, sometimes referred to as Prince, is one of the main characters in the play Much Ado About Nothing By William Shakespeare. Don Pedro is the prince of Aragorn, the land where the play takes place. The Prince is also the leader of the army that both Benedick and Claudio, the two main characters of the play, fight in. In the play, Don Pedro is described as being a strapping man. Being a prince and the leader of many noblemen, he has a very fit build. Throughout the play, Don Pedro is shown wearing formal and expensive clothes. Don Pedro also carries around a sword almost everywhere he goes; although this can be seen as paranoia, he is a prince and feels he needs to protect himself everywhere possible.
