Don't Wear Scool Uniform
Students should not have to wear uniforms
Against:
*To represent the school
*To know what school you’re from
*to be able to identify who belongs at the school.
*a school will look messy and not unified without uniform.
*students may be discriminated against and bullied for their clothing
*uniform guarantees students dress appropriately.

For:
*uniforms wear out
*there are choices
*you don’t have to find the right clothes everyday
*uniforms can be too expensive
*they are uncomfortable
*Students can express their individuality when they wear their clothes

There are many reasons for both sides of the issue that students should not have to wear uniform at school. Two reasons students should not be required to wear uniform are that they can be very expensive and uniforms can wear out in a period of time. Some strong reasons for students wearing uniform are that schools can identify who belongs at the school and a school look messy with all different colours in the school.
Firstly, students shouldn’t wear school uniforms because they can cost up to $50-$80 and some families can’t afford to waste their money on uniforms. Families had already spent a lot of money on school fees which cost up to about $200, so they shouldn’t waste any more money on school uniforms.
Secondly, uniforms can wear out in a period of time, which can waste your money on the purchase of uniforms. Uniforms can get stain very easily, especially on the collar which can be hard to wash off with a normal washing powder.

Against on students shouldn’t wear uniforms. Students should wear uniforms because then the school can identify which student belongs to which school. If the school can’t identify the which student belongs to which school, then students can have a higher rate of truanting(meaning students going to other places except to class) and other strangers can sneak into the school to stalk people. Another reason is that the school looks messy in all different colours. So that is why schools choose a certain type of colour to represent the school. If the students all wear different colours, then the school doesn’t look like a school anymore. It will look more like a place filled with teenagers in different coloured clothing. So for my opinion wearing school uniforms are better than not wearing school uniforms. Even though there cost more, but it’s for the safety for the students and the school can identify who belongs to which school.

Throughout the years, there has been much debate with schools across the country on whether or not students should be allowed to wear uniforms. Through past experience with this argument, it’s safe to say that wearing a uniform is not a bad thing at all. Why? For one, uniforms stop other students from being judged on how they look, two, they save families money and students will not pressure their parents into buying clothes some families can’t afford, and lastly uniforms increase safety and security. So I do strongly agree that students should be able to wear uniforms.…

"Just slapping clothes on kids won't improve a school, but uniforms accompanied by other reforms can make a difference. Uniforms send a message and remind students that they are in school. Those reasons usually include the following: the uniforms are cheaper for parents, students wearing the same clothes decreases school fights, and students can receive a better education in the secure environment uniforms creates. Some students and parents disagree because wearing uniforms is not pleasing to them and does not alleviate traditional school problems. It makes students depressed because they cannot express themselves, they are forced to look like others, and it takes the fun out of school. One reason students should wear uniforms is that it saves time in the morning. For example, students don't have to spend time in front of the closet finding clothes that match. When students have a uniform, they just have to grab a top and a bottom and are ready to go. For instance, my friend Jessica doesn't have a uniform at her school and is always late because she can't decide what to wear. On the other hand, my cousin Maria gets dressed quickly and always shows up on time. Wearing a uniform definitely saves time in the morning.…
