Dominion Scholarship
As a business major, I’m very excited about learning about the business world and becoming a successful businesswoman. Although I plan on increasing more of my knowledge in the business world, I also plan on meeting new people and developing new opportunities for myself. In my paper, I hope that you can learn more about me and perhaps, work together in the future. My name is Rayna Womack and I am nineteen years old. My hobbies are singing and playing basketball. I love meeting new people, hanging out with friends, and learning new things. I would contribute to the diversity of Dominion because I feel that my personality is fit for it. I like to communicate with people and come up with creative ideas to better the company that I am working for. Contributing to the diversity of Dominion would be an excellent opportunity because my profession is Business Management. Dominion would benefit me because it will give me the experience that I need for my major and prepare me for the real world after I graduate.
After I graduate from college, I plan on going to graduate school and getting my master’s degree in business. Although I’m not exactly sure what I want to do after that, I will probably end up working for a successful company or possibly investing in a business of my own. Participating in the Dominion Diversity Scholarship Program will help me achieve my career goals because I will learn to become a better communicator and it will help me with my public speaking skills. I want to become the best public speaker because I want people to understand me better and most importantly, get my point across to the audience.
A personal development that I have learned to excel better in is public speaking. I have become a better public speaker because I have learned to be myself around people. Being myself around people has helped me to overcome my nervousness because I think positive when I am presenting. When I think positive, I focus on the positive aspects
