The career that I chose to research is a Dog Trainer. This job requires that a person teaches a dog to listen to the trainer or owner and follow their instructions. These commands may be basic, such as “Sit”, or they may be advanced, such as teaching a service dog how to do its job. After the dog has been trained, it can be used for a variety of things based on what training it has received. The dog may be used as a service animal, participate in dog shows, used in public safety organizations, put to work within a company or farm, or many other possibilities.
