There are many different kinds of pets in today’s day and age. The assortment of pet can range from the exotic to common. Examples of the more exotic pets are tamed tigers, foxes or moneys. More practical and common pets include the goldfish, cat or dog. Above all, a dog is the best pet because they can be trained, family friendly and available in different breeds. To begin, a dog is the best pet because it is able to be trained. After coming home from a long day, most people just want to curl up in bed and relax. While relaxing, one might notice a chill in their toes. Have no fear; with a week of training a dog can be taught to fetch slippers. That is not all, using a simple reward method, a dog can be taught to open doors, ring bells and much more. The most applicable method of training a dog is when they are taught to be Seeing Eye dogs. People that are blind use Seeing Eye dogs. These sorts of dogs go through extensive training in order to keep their master safe from harm of the unseen world. All dogs are extraordinary and able to learn with the proper attention. With endless possibilities, the extent to which a dog can be taught is unknown. Due to the fact that a dog can be trained to do many different tasks, they are the absolute brightest and best pets. To continue, dogs are the most fantastic pets because they are family friendly. Usually, it is advised that before a couple has a child that they should get a pet. Obviously the best pet to test responsibility is a dog. Although, after the waters of parenting are tested, a dog is an awesome pet when raising kids. A dog is there for talking to, cuddling and playing. (Parallelism) Everyone, including children, needs somebody to talk to; a dog is a great listener and will not share secrets. On top of that, most lovable dogs tolerate cuddling and can be used as a child’s personal heater in the cold winters. No matter the type of day the owner had, a dog will happily and lovingly greet them. Lastly, a dog is great for playing with a can be used to tire out an active child. After the child is all tuckered out, the dog can then spend quality time at the feet of its master. All in all, dogs are great family friendly pets. Lastly and most importantly, dogs are the best pets because of the variety in breed. Everyone has different likings and because of this there are so many different breeds. Dogs range from big to small, pure to mixed, and active to indoor. (Parallelism) Big dogs are usually the more active than the smaller breeds. These dogs can be used for protection and possibly hunting. Larger dogs also are usually more intelligent and are able to train easily. Smaller dogs, lap dogs, are primarily for company and amusement. For the most part, smaller dogs are less active but perfect for city folks living in apartments. Pure breeds are more costly than mixed breeds and usually more intelligent, although this does not mean the mixed breeds are dumb. All dogs: big, small, pure, or mixed will love their owner unconditionally. Due to the variation of dogs, they are the best pets. To conclude, dogs are the best pets because they can be trained, are family friendly and come in variation of breed. A dogs ability to do tricks is dependent on the owner but with enough effort a dog can be taught to do just about anything. Dogs also are family friendly with the ability to be a confident for children, a cuddle buddy and a drainer of children’s energy. Best of all, dogs can come in different breeds to satisfy the needs of the owner. Summarizing what Johnny Depp said, a dog will love its master unconditionally and will always be overjoyed just to be apart of the family.
