A day in the life of the president of the United States is not boring nor is it something that any Joe Schmo can do. As the president, free time is hard to come by, because running one of the biggest nations in the world, something can always be done. That goes for every president that has ever been in the oval office, especially in the world we live in today. President Bush was no stranger to having busy day, and the day of October 10, 2001 was no different. Relation between America and the Middle East were growing more hostile than ever before. At the start of the day at 7:36, President met with Condoleezza Rice his secretary of state, Torkel Patterson, Senior Director for Asian Affairs, and Brooks Bash, of the National Security Council. While in the meeting two separate conference calls were placed; one to President Kim of South Korea and another to the president of China President Jiang. President Kim, sometimes referred to as the “Nelson Mandela of Asia” and President Jiang of the communist party in china, were both coming out of tough economic conditions.
