   Undergrad Grill: Failure

Why  did  the  Undergrad  Grill  doing  poorly?  Nowadays,  many

restaurants fail because they  don't have a good service and that can make your  business  becomes  poorly.  When  you  open  a  restaurant  you should have  clear  ideas and  always have a good service. The Undergrad Grill faced a number of  challenges, which caused it to fail.

There are  many different types of restaurants on Restaurant Row

and  the  Undergrad  Grill  didn't  have  any  unique  food.  When  the  students  of  Benson  University  look  for  a  place  to  eat  and  go  in  Undergrad  Grill,  the  restaurant  didn't  have  a  specific  and  interesting  food.  The  Undergrad  Grill  should  cook  food  to  grill,  for  example:  grilled  chicken,  grilled  meat,  and  grilled fish not only fast food.

Another  reason  why  the  Undergrad  Grill  failed  is  because  the

restaurant  didn't  have  professional  service.  Most  of  the  students  don't  have  cash  to  pay  and  the  restaurant  accepts  cash  only,  but  at  Benson  University  some  students  prefer  to  use  credit  cards.  The  restaurant  couldn't  afford  professional  cooks,  so  Undergrad  Grill  hired  students  to  do the cooking. The  competition  of  restaurants  was  more  than  Higgins  anticipated  and  the  Undergrad Grill began doing poorly.

In  addition,  the  restaurant  had  a lack  of advertising.  Tom

Higgins hired the  first people he could find to do the renovations and painting.  He  didn't  plan  out  his  budget  and  he  ended  up  overpaying  the  workers,  because  he  wanted  to  get  the  job  quickly,  after  that  Tom  Higgins  didn't have  money to do much advertising.

In conclusion, Undergrad Grill didn't have  enough money to do

advertising  and had bad service that is why  it failed. In my opinion, when you  open a  restaurant you need to  have enough money to do good advertising and  is  important  to  make  a  good  advertising  in  a  restaurant  because that way can  help you to attract more customers.
