Documentary About Arming Teachers
Arming teachers is a very tough topic to talk about. The first documentary that we watched showed a school that teaches students how to react in a shooting situation, and also arms teachers. I believe that this school is going a little overboard with arming the teachers. The program to train children in self defense is a good idea though. I'm not saying that we should constantly live in fear of a school shooting, but defense training would be a good workshop to do with students. They brought up a very good point in this documentary when they mentioned physical education classes, and the lack of benefits from. I believe that a self defense class would be very useful to ready students for their future. This could help them not only defend themselves
