Reducing the effects of the flooding in Bangladesh
Bangladesh suffers flooding more than any other country I the world. Bangladesh experiences flooding as it has many river flowing through it. It also a very flat country that experiences heavy rainfall during the monsoon season .That’s why Bangladesh needs methods to cope with flooding .Bangladesh uses several such as flood warning system because it can be used to save lives but the problem is not every household can afford the radio and must rely on a person does. One of the method is dam because it can stop the city from flooding .However the disadvantage of this method are its cost very expensive .When the dam is exploded the water it contain can be drowned the people in the village. Another method used in Bangladesh is flooding warning system .This method is good for the people of Bangladesh because this can help give instructions what people should do before ,during and after the flood .Yet the problem with this method are not every household can afford the radio and must rely on a person does. Overall I find the method to be embankments even though there are certain disadvantages with this method such as it can make flooding worse and fisherman can’t get success to the river to fishing .This method will best reduce the effects of flooding in Bangladesh because try to stop the river from overflowing and it can stop rainwater returning to the river from the land.
