Do People Become Ignorant When Facing Someone Else Analysis
Do you believe that people become ignorant when an obstacle comes to face someone else. I personally do not agree with this because something or someone can take advantage of all the attention going elsewhere.
As an example to my objection, my mother is disappointed in me for the reason that I don’t try my best in school ,and gives me all the attention. Meanwhile, my little brother is failing most of his classes. Yes, it is going to resolve my problem , but my brother on the other hand is not doing well on his own classes. I say that some attention is deserved but keep it at balance because things can change on you in the matter of a blink of an eye. One needing help and the other not needing it but he or she will slack off if given the chance. What will you do? The right thing to do would be to give both people equal attention or help. If not they will not be in the best position and it will reflect back to you. For example, if you were in need for help, but no one stepped up to the plate ; you would be in a big problem. Not just with your need of help but when someone else needs attention no one will give them and that's how the cycle will keep going until someone actually helps out.
Let's say that the United States is in need for help because of war. Then Russia comes to help even though they received a war threat from China. Russia all off a sudden went into war with China. Russia not only lost the war but also lost millions of troops. The reason for this is because they had all attention to the U.S..Russia then lost millions of dollars because of this. Elie also mentions in his quote that there is no such things as lines or borders to keep aware of.However others might take this the wrong way.For example, someone crosses a border with the mental state of helping a family member, but he or she gets arrested for crossing.See this is why this wouldn’t work.
