The necessity of attending class has been argued a lot in recent year. Some people defends the idea that students should be required to be in the classroom whereas other believe studying out of a class can improve the learning. When it comes what option is the best, there are a lot of advantages that support both sides.

The convenience to learn through distance course, allow students to customize their learning process with their own interests with going out to a university/campus. Instead of attending rigidly scheduled classes times they can log into their courses whenever it suits better. An e-learning student can repeat lectures as many times it's necessary to understand the material, learning at their own speed. On the other hand, classroom learning environment is a traditional part of school life. Being in contact with others people helps to enhance the knowledge, open the mind for another points of view, develop communication and listening skills. Another thing is that a professor/ teacher can transmit to students the right method of study, teaching them how to study efficiently and how to apply what they have learned into practice. Sometimes students waste lots of time without a right path for learning.
