Disruptive Behavior Case Study

P: Timothy will learn skills to resolve core conflicts that contribute to the emergence of disruptive, negative attention-seeking behaviors Timothy will also learn to react appropriately to social cues and follow expected rules during play, classroom, or social activities.
A: MHP helped Timothy make a connection between unpleasant or negative emotions and disruptive behaviors. MHP helped Timothy to create his own idea where someone uses appropriate and inappropriate ways to gain acceptance, process information in therapy. MHP encouraged his father to give frequent praise and positive reinforcement when positive social behaviors and good impulse control are shown.
