However, my concern lies within the way that Disney Channel could possibly execute it. I was absolutely in love with Disney Channel shows as a kid. Of course “That’s So Raven” was amazing, but “Lizzie McGuire,” “Even Stevens” and “Phil of the Future” were also contenders for my all-time favorite series.…

There are plenty of hotbed issues on how the Disney corporation’s sociological and socio political ideologies are embedded into their products and how they affect children, but very few ask why Disney would place hidden ideologies in their movies/shows. What reasons would Disney have to program children with outdated morals while trying desperately to uphold a model image of innocence? What practices has the disney corporation practiced that some would consider immoral or even illegal? To answer these questions the following issues must be explored in more depth: The history and actions of Disney from its inceptions to the present,Walt’s strict “moral” code along with the legacy he left behind, the policies of Disneyland along with the corporation’s political, judicial and economical power, Walt’s ties to the FBI and organized crime syndicates, and the revolving door politics in our government. Disney’s powers have allowed them unprecedented freedoms associated with a private company and the pandora’s box that is Evil Mickey.…

Classic Disney movies were produced starting around the 1930’s and went all the way until 1999. These movies include, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and many others. These are all animated movies targeted for young children. Starting in 2000, Disney movies have become unanimated and rather inappropriate for certain age groups that Disney is intended for. Movies such as, Remember the Titans, Gotta Kick It Up!, Cadet Kelly, The Cheetah Girls, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Princess Protection Program, Alice in Wonderland, and Prom are all movies that have recently been produced by Disney. The actors and actresses on Disney Channel are all teenagers that face obstacles during high school.…

High School Musical: the 2006 movie that changed America and me. The movie depicted high school as a place where students sang in between classes, danced on the lunch tables, and, obviously, found lifelong love. As a wide-eyed six year old, all of this sounded great to me. I was itching to go to high school and participate, and if someone had asked me to, I would’ve dropped everything for that dancing and singing kind of scenario.…

This film is a unique film that is available for the whole family to view. It has all the elements that an action/ adventure film has and even includes a little bit of romance. It is a humorous film that includes more than just an average adventure story plotline. It shows the journey of all the characters and how they develop a relationship with each other as well as their inner selves. They learn to work together and become close friends.…

The ‘East High’ Students have yet to graduate. Their senior year was what their next movie is about. Whilst everyone was sad to see the trilogy come to an end, we all wanted to know how it would pan out. The movies shows the fear that Zac and Gabriella experience while the end of their high school love approaches. They despise the idea of being separated once they go to college. It seems as while high school musical came to an end, Zac started a new era of himself. He became a new Zac and started acting in more provocative themed movies like “17 Again” in 2009 and “Neighbors” in 2014. Films like the 2016“Dirty Grandpa” are very inappropriate for younger viewers unlike his past high school flicks. Zac improved his acting and gained more fame in the process. His upcoming movie “Baywatch” looks very promising and Zac’s role as a sexy lifeguard almost fits him perfectly. That might be the reason every part he plays is so splendid. As Zac Efron himself matured and grew so did the theme of the movies he participated in. Speaking of maturing, Zac and Vanessa’s relationship ended way back in December, 2010 due to them fighting too much. Maybe they were stressed from all the movies they had to worry about, but in an interview with Dusty Baxter-Wright on March 27, 2017 Vanessa said, "I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up. Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares", so it is confirmed that it is Vanessa’s fault and Zac is innocent. After Vanessa Hudgens broke his heart, he found a new love in February, 2011 with an actress Teresa Palmer. After she got old, paparazzi found Zac in an off an on type of relationship with Lily Collins from 2012 to 2013. Apparently Zac has a thing for costars because as he was shooting “Neighbors” he became an item with Halston Sage in 2014. Nothing was confirmed but with the assumptions and suspicions of his fans it looked a whole lot like a relationship. He had a…

Disney films are not for childrenWe were a generation that grew up with the Disney films. The Lion King, Snow White, Mulan, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and we could recall more of these famous stories without a second of hesitation. We enjoyed them, loved them, and most of us repeated our favourites like we could never grow tired of them. We loved their adventures, the world Disney films created for us. We adored the romance between the hero and the heroine and they were popular subjects to talk among friends. Yet despite all the fun Disney films brought us, hidden messages embedded in the films also came along at the same time.…

El Dorado Springs High School put on Shrek The Musical last week (under the direction of Nicole Smith), an adaptation of DreamWorks Shrek the children's cartoon movie. The actors weren't really given a very good stage to perform on as well as a good backstage. The cast and crew of Shrek the musical did a good job of using of what they had. For such a small stage and a small school the production wasn't bad as a whole. The set did a sufficient job at letting us know where we're at and what's going on with the scene. The lead actors of the where John King as Shrek the Ogre, Allaura Stockbauer as Fiona, Caleb Miller as Donkey, and Caleb Alexander as Lord Farquaad did a good job on the acting side, but since this is a musical their vocals could have been more impressive.…
