Disneyland Research Paper
We all love road trips. They are fun and enjoyable. I think the number one place to visit if you are a kid is Disneyland. It is amazing. You can go on rides, eat junk food and those two things are amazing by themselves. Everyone has a favorite place to go and everyone has a great memory of it. Let me tell you one of my favorite vacations I have gone on.

A long time ago I would say 2 years ago my family went on a vacation to Disneyland. It was amazing. Let me start on the car ride. My parents sat up front and I and my older brother Nate sat in the back. My little brother sat in the very back and we started going. The car ride took forever but eventually, we got there. The hotel was amazing! It had a door that led right to Disneyland and one

We got there pretty late so we were all tired. The next day we went to downtown Disney and did some shopping my little brother hated it and just wanted to ride the rides. We did that all day and the next day we went on some rides. It was awesome! We rode rides the next day and on on the last day my little brother went to bed at about eight o'clock and since the hotel had a door that led right to Disneyland me and my older brother rode the grizzly rapids at least ten times and it was the most fun I have ever had! The rapids were one of those rides that if you went on it would make get soaked with water so at the end of the ten times I and Nate rode the ride it was like we had got out of the pool. The reason we could ride it so much was because it was kind of cold so no one wanted to get wet on a ride. But our hotel room was right next to a door that led to the rapids so once we finished up we went inside. So that was amazing but I have noticed that as you get older your interests start to change a lot. For instance, Disneyland isn't my number one spot I want to go to anymore. Mine is probably going up to Santa Cruz for a week. So as you get older your interests change. Like I don't want to be a cop anymore the older you get the more you

The best trip I have ever went on was when my family and I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. My aunt was getting married and my mom’s side of the family was invited to come. We got to go on this vacation last February. We left very early one morning and we went to the airport. It was very cold and the air was very dry. We got to the airport in Sioux Falls and we went through security and waited to get on the plane. Once we finally got on the plane I was very excited to get there. We had a connection in Minneapolis and we had a direct flight from Minneapolis all the way to Punta Cana. Once we finally got to Punta Cana, we were getting off the plane and I could feel the humid, warm air. We had to wait in a very long line to go through customs. After that, we got on a taxi that took us to our resort. The roads in the Dominican Republic are not much different from the roads in the U.S. They still had stop lights, billboards, and the same traffic rules. One big difference we saw on the way to the…

Some people come from out of state to enjoy the theme park in spring and summer break. It is a fun place because there are many things to do even though it is less rides. I still love all the roller coasters and my favorite roller coaster is the Alpengist. Lines can be long, but never disappoints me at all. Amazing roller coasters their I like most of them. They have roller coasters for adults and young children. They also have wolves, goats and a dog it is kind of cool because they are very shy and curious. During the summer time, they have fireworks. This is the best feature in the park. Everyone also enjoys the Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town. I've never been to the Christmas town, but I heard it is nice. In December, Christmas lights are placed on the rides as décor. I really enjoy seeing penguins and having fun visiting all the different…

We drove down in separate cars from Kentucky enduring about thirteen long hours of “fun” with my immediate family. We finally arrive in animal kingdom where we are staying in one of the Disney hotels. We get to our room and get settled in when I look out on the balcony and see giraffes, and antelopes, and peacocks walking around in my back yard. It was one of my favorite parts of this trip. We then go out to wait for the bus to take us to our first kingdom, epcot. I remember immediately being here as a child and know exactly what I want to go and do and see. Now being seventeen, I take one of my cousins and we go off on our own to see what we want to experience. We go to the science museum and learn about space and evolution which has through my high school years been very beneficial to me. Having fun and learning at the same time was great. I spend the entire next day going around to all the rides and enjoying them at least two times each. I couldn’t believe how much fun I was having. After that I went to the stores and got all the things I wanted to take back home to remember this trip…

Disney world has the rides to remember and food that will you want to puke your brains out… awesome right? When it came to draw where we are going to go for a vacation I was nervous. I didn’t want to go to a star wars convention that my brother probably obviously picked for vacation. My dad drew a piece of paper out of the fish bowl and opened it slowly… then there it was, it had said Disney world and my heart couldn’t have been happier. Nobody really complained about my choice.…

Have you ever gone on a vacation so great and enjoyable that you will never forget it? It all started in the summer of 2016 when my parents told my sisters and I that we are going to Disney World. They said that we would be going in a van with my cousin Fillip’s family. We were so ecstatic that we could not wait for the day to come. Then, when the day was upon us, I was at basketball practice in Sportsplex and when my mom picked me up, we got home and immediately prepared to leave because Fillip and his family was already there. Once the trunk of the van was packed with all of our belongings, the ten of us got in and left for Florida. Lucky for us, there were eleven seats in the van so it wasn’t very crowded. Fillip and I were the luckiest…

I was lucky enough to be able to fly out to New York City, and experience things kids my age generally are not able to experience. It was amazing! Although we only stayed for a couple days, we were able to do much with the time we had. My family and I reached the top of the Empire State Building, walked about central parked, ate pizza, and much more. The hotel was beautiful, but we stayed in a tight room which my four family members and I could hardly fit in.…

Another very popular vacation destination is theme parks. Places like Disney World, Dollywood, Six Flags, Universal Studios and Sea World offer big doses of high energy family fun. Theme parks are most popular amongst families with small children. There are plenty of activities geared directly toward holding children’s interests. There is also something magical about theme parks that draws in adults. The sights, the sounds, but mostly the way they make them feel. They remind them of simpler times, like when they were children and didn’t have a care in the world. The benefit to these vacations is that they require very little planning. The only thing you have to plan is how to get there. Once you arrive at the theme…

When we think Disneyland, we think the happiest place on earth. For those who think this is an exaggeration, let me shed some light on why this place is magical for me. Disneyland to me means family traditions with a heart full of happiness and love. When you first enter Disneyland, you are overcome with a vast amount of emotions. I get a nervous feeling deep inside my gut. The excitement overwhelms me, knowing that in just a few small steps, I will see the castle at the end of Main Street. The smell of churros are in the air. The crowds are filled with children and parents. You can hear children’s laughter and excitement. And if you look closely, you can see Mickey and friends in the corner signing autographs and taking pictures. I close my…
