Founded in the late 1950s by Greg Hill and Kerry Thorley.



These students learned in a mythology class that the Greeks and Romans had a goddess of chaos and confusion, and they thought that was the funniest thing they have ever heard of, so they made a religion out of it

Discordianism is the worship of the
Greek goddess Eris

Who is Eris?


Eris was the goddess of strife and discord and she played a big role on the start of the Trojan
War.
