Direct Instructional Practice

I believe the instructional practice that I will use most in my classroom is indirect instruction. Indirect instruction allows students to learn through hands on experiences and discussions. For example, when teaching a new lesson I will find a fun and engaging way for students to learn where I will play a role as the facilitator. With that being said, I am a big believer in the sociocultural perspective theory. This theory explains that people primarily learn through social interactions and more knowledgeable others to increase zone of proximal development.
