Digital Bangladesh
Digital Bangladesh means a computerised Bangladesh which is yet to be fully for Bangladesh or any other country going digital is no lunury but a necessity in the 21st century. Realing this fact our admistration under the able leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken up Digital Bangladesh as its slogan.
The modern era is ofter called the informatin age or computer age. The digitalisation of century began in the developed countries in the 20th century. Now almot the whole world has gone digital. To keep up with the rest of the world bangladesh must also go digital. Why did the world decide to go digital? First of all digital technology is cheaper than heavy machinery-based technoloty. Second digital equipment is easy to install and remove. Third digital technology is almost full-proof. Even if degital equipment breaks down, it is easier to replace or repair them. For the, degital equipment is faster and more accurate than traditional technoloty.
The government of Sheikh Hasina has already taken some significant steps to turn Bangladesh 100 percent digital. Our honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina personallh takes up a lot of interest in the digitalisation of Bangladesh. At her order the activites of most government orreices have becomen largely digital . the utility bills are nolw computer generated. The railway tickets are aow computeised. The departement stores provide us with digitally prepared bills. Our JSC, SSC, HSC examinees now have their board final results on the internet. Our birth certificate and national ID cards are issued on computerised data base. Even passports are now machine readable.
The future of bangladesh, if we can go 100 percent digital is in a word bright with the government giving highest priorrity to our IT skills. Then we can export a huge chunk of these it workforce to devoloped countries. In other words we can earn billions of dollars by exporting IT professionals software and hardware. We can
