In this twenty first century, every organization has its own organization structure to fit their own goals and objective of the company. In order to reach their target, top management will find which structure is most fit into their company. There are three main types of structure, vertical functional structure, divisional structure, and matrix structure. Different types of organization structure have different way to manage it. It is very important that to choose a right and most suitable form of organization structure. The organization process leads to creation of organization structure, which defines how tasks are divided, resources are deployed, and department are coordinated. The main factors to consider when designing an organizational structure include clarity, understanding, decentralization, stability and adaptability.

In my opinion, I disagree with the organisation consultant's statement. What is the aspect of the functional structure? Functional structure is also call as "U form" (unity) organization. In an organization structure, jobs (and departments) are group and specialized according to business function and skills they require: production, marketing, human resources, research and development, finance, accounting, and so forth. Functional departmentalization is common in large and small organization, but in my opinion it is most suitable by small and medium-sized companies in somewhat stable business environment without a great deal of change and uncertainty.
