Differences In Flowers For Algernon
In the movie flowers for Algernon there are differences like Charlie and Miss Kinnian fall in love. “In the movie Charlie loved Miss Kinnian he told her that but, he couldn’t stay with her because he would soon forget how he felt so he had to go.” This is very weird because if he loved her he would stay with her. But,it makes sense because he would just soon forget. Also in the movie Charlie beat Algernon 1 time and in the book he beat him 8 times. This happened probably to make the movie shorter,but it still should of happened.

In the book Flowers for Algernon there was some differences too, Charlie worked in a plastic box factory and in the movie he works in a bread factory. I think this happened because a brad factory is than a plastic

    The characters in the novel and movies Fahrenheit 451 are different in multiple ways from their attitudes, names or the characters from the book aren’t even in the movie. Mildred Guy Montag’s wife in the novel was not the same person in the movie, in the movie her name was Linda. Linda’s attitude was the same but changing the name of a character is pointless. In the book Linda and Clarisse are not the same in anyway, in the movie they are similar even down to the actor who plays their parts.     One major difference between the book and the movie are the scenes. One example is the scene in the barn when George took the mule in there to fix its hoof. This scene doesn’t happen in the book because the author spent a lot more time describing Curly’s wife’s personality, so it was easier to visualize. I think this scene is necessary for the movie because it helps you better understand Curly’s wife. Another scene is when the book describes George sharing his beans with Lennie, and also pulls out two spoons one for himself and one for Lennie, which shows that George cares about him and is planning to have a future together. This scene was not included in the movie and I think that was not a good idea. This scene would have perfectly fit into the storyline and showed George’s feelings toward Lennie. Another difference in the scenes is the one where Crooks, Candy, and Lennie are gathered in Crook’s room. Curly’s wife arrives and Crooks has the nerve to stand up to her and she gets mad at Crooks and threatens to have him hanged and no one would object. Crooks then shuts up and lets her do what she wants. This scene should have been in the movie, but was not.
