Differences Between To Kill A Mockingbird Movie And Book
The book and the movie were way different. The characters were different than what they described in the book. Like how the cuninghams boy had cooties. Tom’s arm was suppose to be short but it is the same length in the movie. One of the additions of the movie was Bob came to the Finches car when Atticus was talking to Mrs. Robinson and he was scaring Jem. Mr, Underwood was in his shop with his gun to protect Atticus so the mob did not hurt him. Miss. Maudie's house did not catch on fire. Atticus did not bring a lamp with him to the jail. Those are so of the deletion of the book and the movie. In the book scout had a good relationship with Cal but in the movie she did not. They both have the same themes. “Don’t judge someone if you have not

Montag was really muscular and not afraid to do anything. In the book Montag was really wimpy and afraid of a lot. Movies and books are always different; in a movie you can show multiple characters, and in most books you're stuck in one character's narrative. For instance in the book The Giver the character Fiona doesn’t care about Jonas as deeply as she does in the movie. In the movie she stops her injections, and she starts to love Jonas. However in the book she only “enjoys having Jonas’s company”. In the movie she also helps Jonas steal Gabe before he is killed, and she is put in the community jail for helping him. Before she is going to be released she talks about how she has felt things. That she knows what it is like to truly feel, and in the book she isn’t this unorthodox.…

There are many differences between the movie and the book. First the positive points: This film attaches faces to Scout, Jem, Miss Maudie, and Dill, since no description of their faces is given in the book. Also, the film has some genuinely hilarious moments, particularly the scene where Scout is dressed as a ham and walking through the forest. Another good point is that the acting was superb and a treat to watch. Gregory Peck, who played Atticus, was captivating. The film is cast very well. The novel does not give physical descriptions of Scout, Jem, Miss Maudie, and Dill, but the film characters were believable. The actors look like what we would expect them to look like.…

In the story there’s a lot less detail than in the movie version. Right off of the bat I notice that Billy meets a man on the train that is taking him to Bath and the man he meets is in the same branch as him. In the story it don’t say the reason that the landlady opens the door so fast but in the movie she was looking through the door hole and that’s why she opened the door so fast. In the movie he waits a while before he came in but in the story it said that he came in fast after she opened the door. Also in the movie while he is in his room on the fourth floor he is writing a letter and in the story it doesn’t say he does anything in his room. Another big thing I noticed is that in the story it says that the curtains are green but in the…

Fear The Birds, the novella version is a more accurate and symbolic representation of how society was feeling at the time. The novella is a short story of a family living in euro England that is savagely attacked by birds. The film in the other hand is a loosely representation compared to the novella. In the film it is a town that is attacked by birds near a sea side town.…

Neither the novel nor film version of To Kill A Mockingbird is superior to the other, just different. In the book you delve more into the separate characters while in the film you see the relationships in action. The book gives you a broader view of everything, but at the same time the movie points out everything that seems important. Lastly, the novel shows Scout as a girl caught in the middle, when the movie seems to paint Scout as a girl without a inkling of what is going on.…

There are many different changes between the movie “Fahrenheit 451” and the book. The movie had very little similarities to the book. Most of the differences had a big influence on the story and completely changed it. One of the major changes in the movie was that Faber wasn’t in it. Faber played a very important role in Montag's life. He helped Montag with his development and made him understand books more. He helped make Montag think for himself. Clarisse took over the role of Faber in the movie, but she didn’t help him as much as Faber did in the book. Faber also played a big role in helping Montag with his plan with overthrowing the firemen, but in the movie he didn’t overthrow them.…

The characters in the book Of Mice And Men and in the movie seemed very real and true to the characters that they are supposed to be. You have Lennie who is some what disabled but loves to pets things that are soft and in the movie remains exactly as the reader encounters him. There's George who takes care of Lennie and is very kind and loyal to lennie. He then eventually met slim and realized they were kinda the same and soon became close to him. I think that the filmers did a great job making the movie, especially that they have made it to where it almost says and does everything in the book.…

The book and the movie are the same in many areas, yet differ in many others. Overall, they have the same characters, themes and settings throughout the book and movie. They differ in the scenes and in certain parts of the dialog however. An example of one such difference is when Bob Ewell talks to Atticus after Tom Robinson’s first court date. The book never included this scene. There are also small details that were not taken to note in the movie. For instance, the night the three children went to the jail to find Atticus, Dill had spent the night with Jem and Scout, even though in the book Scout and Jem went to pick him up at his house. Another example is when they are at the jail- Atticus is…

Under what context do you usually expect the word courage? Probably somewhere other than it should be. Most people confuse courage with valor, which is heroism in a great battle or cause. What about people who aren't famous or special, can't they show courage too? In truth, a better definition of courage could be doing your duty, even if you know you've lost. This definition given by Atticus Finch, a courageous man similar to Jake Tyler Brigance. Though both of these men are not immensely strong or overly special in any one way, both somehow are courageous. Perhaps this means that Atticus' definition of courage is in fact better than the conventional one, and should be used in its place. This definition of courage is truly proven in both the novel and the film by not only Atticus and Jake as they seek truth and justice, but by Tom and Carl as they struggle with racism.…
