Differences Between Book And Movie

The movie itself is very much different from the book. The story was also changed with some of the plot. The movie and the book are both still following the same story line. Along with the same ending. This is what I have noticed between the movie and the book.

Number one is that the old man was cruel to the young man. Unlike in the book where it says and I quote “The old man had never wronged me”. That was huge difference. This change also gave him a different reason to kill the old man. That was one major thing they changed.

The next thing I’d notice was the young man actually walked into the old man's room. In the book he just bursts into his room and does the cruel deed to the old man. In the movie they just look at each other. But in the movie as they look at each other the young man also walks closer. This was another major thing they changed.

Along with the fact he didn’t sit down with them insisting they rest. He also gave an explanation for why the old man wasn't there.

These are the different things that I’ve noticed within the movie and the book. Also there are more differences but the movie and book do have some similarities. For example in the book and the movie the old man still has treasures. He also still has what was described as a “vulture eye”. So the book and the movie were not completely

adventure both in the movie and book. Although differences may apply they are both fascinating. Imagine a community where your feelings are tucked away from a pill? Both in the movie and the book Jonas was skipped during the ceremony of the twelve. Jonas was frightened and embarrassed and thought he wasn’t good enough to get selected to do anything. This is a pretty big key in the book because this is the time Jonas becomes the receiver of memory. Towards the end of the movie, there was a pretty significant…

There is quite a few differences between the book and movie The Outsiders. The book is written by S.E. Hinton. We have been reading the outsiders and we were wondering which was better the movie or the book. The book and movie are both easy to relate to because Ponyboy is our age and most of the characters are young. I think the three characters are Sodapop,Ponyboy, and Two bit. In the book I pictured them as these tough looking kids but when I saw the movie they actually don’t look as tough as…

Movies and books are always different; in a movie you can show multiple characters, and in most books you're stuck in one character's narrative. For instance in the book The Giver the character Fiona doesn’t care about Jonas as deeply as she does in the movie. In the movie she stops her injections, and she starts to love Jonas. However in the book she only “enjoys having Jonas’s company”. In the movie she also helps Jonas steal Gabe before he is killed, and she is put in the community jail for helping…

The book and the movie of ¨The Outsiders¨ are generally the same but differs at some of the parts. As books and movies usually do, they both share the same same story line and the general idea. Nonetheless, the differences are quite large. Both the book and the movie are very similar, or else it wouldn't be much of a point to make a movie for a book. For instance, the both have Johnny killing Bob while they were drowning Ponyboy. Although it, like the book, doesn't go into great detail about it…

is the way the society was going in Millers time. There were three differences in the book and the movie. The book added in the rooster crowing in the background at the end when John was about to be taken to be hung which was very helpful because it showed some different symbols. A difference in the movie was that there were more girls at the beginning casting spells. It wasn't just Abigail and a few of her friends. The movie also includes that Reverend Hale beat Tituba into confessing that she…

important thing I have noticed about films based on books is that they are never accurate and there is always a big difference in story. I feel like movie makers have their own opinion about a story which they think might get more people to watch movie. In the movie the main thing that changes is headless horseman becomes real where as in book Brom bones. In the movie the horseman actuallly kills people where as in book there are only sightings. In the movie Ichabod is a constable who visits sleepy hollow…
