The first difference between baseball and basketball is their uniforms. Uniforms give teams their identity and a sense of togetherness with each other. Baseball players wear pants that go down to their ankles, short sleeve shirts, and a helmet or hat during their game. On the contrary basketball players wear shorts and sleeveless shirts. Baseball players wear cleats, shoes with bumps on the bottom, to help grip in the dirt and run better. Basketball players wear basketball shoes that are flat.
