Difference Between Microsoft And Nokia
INTRODUCTION
Microsoft Corporation started its work in Washington. Its co-founder is one of the successful persons in the world named Bill gates. Microsoft has many products ranging from windows operating system to internet portal (which provide all related services of internet)
History of Nokia tells us that it hasn’t been a manufacturer of phones in past, this company made footwear, tires and paper products before it involved in mobile industry. In 1990 the company focused only on telecommunication services by providing best hardware mobile phones all over the world.
MERGING OF MICROSOFT AND NOKIA

The resources tools, trade secrets and culture of both companies were different so it created inefficiencies in working. By acquiring Nokia now Microsoft can work also on hardware and is able to manufacture more efficient tablets or phones than before. By this agreement their understanding increased about working of software with hardware, now MICROSOFT can able to make more efficient software.This agreement helps Microsoft to speed up its market acceptance and innovation by including windows in the applications of mobile phones. The number of Microsoft customers also increased by this strategy, anyone who purchases Nokia’s phone indirectly becomes the customer of Microsoft. Both companies get benefit by synergy of talented people, so both companies get a better chance to accelerate the modern force and leading-edge innovation in both software and hardware. Customers of both companies have been increased by this merge. Nokia retained some more beneficial patents by this merger like “utility patents”.
