Did Adam Achieve His Dream
Adam achieved his dream in many ways. From the very beginning he was always the first person to take on the challenge. “Adam was the first to scoot, first to crawl, first to walk, and first to climb out of the crib.” (Blehm 2) Later on, as his teenage years carried on he started hanging around some people that were a bad influence on him. He had a girlfriend named Cindy, she was the first person in his life to introduce him to drugs. His life soon went downhill. Adam stole from his parents.
“When Adam stole from his parents, he started crying.” (Blehm 62) “Adam also stole from David. This time Adam had disappeared with David’s car and thousands of dollars’ worth of camping gear, stereo equipment, CDs, two checkbooks, and a Smith & Wesson

God is going to have to fix Adam.” (Blehm 59) Later on Adam decided to join the Navy as a SEAL and to be in the Navy he had to stay off of drugs for two years so those two years helped him recover. Later on in his life while he was still on drugs he had met this woman named Kelley and she was a good christian woman that had went through the same troubles that Adam had went through. When Kelley had came into Adam’s life he still had a drug addiction.
Kelley was one of the many ways that Adam had achieved his American Dream. A woman that had so much love for him. They got married and had two beautiful children that Adam adored and loved so much. That was another way that Adam achieved his American Dream. His family meant so much to him.
Adam was a hero to so many people. He lived a life that was so full and content. He never quit the race in life, he always kept moving forward and progressed. Everyone knew that Adam was a special man. He had so much to offer in life.
Working in the Navy as a SEAL he had learned what kind of hard work it takes to be one. He met so many friends that he had met through the years of being a Navy SEAL. Friends that would last a lifetime. He was an inspiration. “Adam provided the children of Kunar Province, Afghanistan, with warm socks and winter-worthy shoes during this deployment.” (Blehm
