Dickie Monologue
#whyIimpersonateDickie Nobody would understand my thoughts that went through my head when Dickie was still alive. He had the fame, he had the glory, and he even had the money. While he was getting fame, I was sitting here like a baby chick learning to fly. It was like I couldn’t get out, he was calling me a queer and just was making me look bad. I just had enough. I wanted to live his lavish lifestyle. This caused a chain of events to happen, it was like my destiny to kill Dickie, and the death was set up perfectly. We were out in the middle of the Ocean on a boat with no one around. I first thought how, and what will happen after the deed is done. The man who was so full of himself. The man who I despised. This wasn’t any ordinary oar, it was my mass destruction weapon to kill Dickie. I stole his wallet, rings, his jacket, and Marge’s Cologne. Then I tried to destroy the boat. I then thought I have accomplished my goal. I can be Dickie, I can now have the glory and fame he once had when he was alive. I then sank the boat and walked back to “my” …show more content…

I am going to buy so many things, I never thought I could buy for myself. I can now eat whatever I want, and do anything. I am just sitting up in my room, then the phone rings and the person behind the desk, asked if the police can come and talk me. I got real nervous. It was as if I took a lot of drugs and they were just hitting me right now. I become paranoid. I became a

When I was younger I had a very vibrant dream in the back of my mind. My family has never been the rich family, and I have never gotten everything I wanted. I pulled my beanie securely on my head as I crouched down on a sturdy tree branch. My hunting knife reflected the dim light of the moon. It glinted letting my prey know I was there. "Yeah, I love a good chase!" I jumped from branch to branch as I chase my target. His brown hair was starting to gray but he ran pretty good for someone in their late forties. At least that's what boss lady said. I jumped down quietly as the man began to get tired. He began huffing as his pace slowed. I knocked into his back sending him into a tree. His chest heavily moved with his ragged breaths. I slowly approached him as I pulled my hunting knife back out. "Let play," I said in a deadpan tone. My eyes lost their light as I stared down at him.…

    The Road Monologue

The drunkards go home, throwing beer bottles behind their left shoulders: alcohol stains spell out initials of people they used to love and the name of that casino down the road. This is how mornings begin in the city: knee, shoulder, and right knuckle skinned in half-hearted fights; fingertips hypothermic blue, just for show. The alleyways are filled with tired eyes and clusters of folded yellow flowers in unfeeling hands. Glass shatters like ocean waves, like my mind when time stopped ticking forward. We set our watches back by an hour, by two, by ten and a half.…

Out of the blue today I received a call from Holden Caulfield, and strange enough I had been just thinking recently how I haven’t talked to Holden in quite some time. I won’t lie I was very excited to hear it was Holden Caulfield on the phone; he is such a nice guy. Holden asked me if I was free to go out to see a movie, I loved the movies so I couldn’t resist. Our movie date was at two thirty, I showed up a little late but he didn’t seem to mind. Holden had bought tickets for us to see the Lunts, which was a marvelous movie! At the end of the first half of the movie, Holden and I went into the lobby where I had seen someone that looked quite familiar. I looked carefully and noticed it was George! George is an old friend of mine that I just adore, but we haven’t caught up in a very…
