Diabetic Nurse Practitioner Essay
The types of education you need to be a diabetic nurse practitioner are Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) certification. You also need clinical practice BC-ADM a RN license. Completion of a graduate-level nursing degree and at least 500 hours of clinical practice in advanced diabetes management. At least 1,000 hours of experience of self-management education as well as 15 hours of NCBDE-approved diabetes-related study
