Woosh! The jet engines start up, and we’re off. My ears pop, and I can only hear the beating of my heart. As we head over the Red River, the clouds began to thicken. The flight attendant asks me if I want a drink.
I politely say, “Can I please have a lemonade?”
Then I look through the window, and we are above the marshmallow clouds. I finish my drink, and we start descending down toward the dark thick clouds.

Boom! The plane starts shaking, and all we can see are white circles...it is snow! The plane continues to shake back and forth. I can see the runway lights ahead.
